WHY SHOULD I JOIN?
Individuals interested in the organ and choral music fields are invited to join the American Guild of Organists. Membership is open to everyone, regardless of denominational affiliation or musical ability.
Membership in AGO Knoxville brings the following benefits:
Annual subscription to The American Organist
Access to national job listings
Eligibilty for high-quality insurance plans for health,
home, and professional liability at competitive rates
Discounts on AGO convention fees and educational resources
Discounts on Certification exam fees
Chapter events such as recitals, workshops, meetings, and seminars
Voting privileges in officer elections
AGO membership is offered both through local chapters, and to individuals who wish to participate as independent members without chapter affiliation. Local chapters hold regular meetings featuring performances, lectures, seminars, and discussions on a wide variety of topics. Many chapters also offer monthly newsletters, scholarship programs, musician placement services, and substitute referrals to employing institutions. Independent members enjoy all of the same national benefits as chapter members; however, they do not receive the various benefits local chapters have to offer.
We would love to see you get involved with us!
If you are interested in joining, please contact us by filling out the form found here.

DONATIONS
Essential to the well-being and success of our local chapter are the donations we receive over and above the chapter dues. Only a small portion of your dues to National are returned to the local chapter. Without your generous giving we could not provide the local events and activities that make up our organization. We hope that you will consider making this success possible with a generous and much appreciated donation. You may make this donation online when you renew your membership or you can send a check to our treasurer, Peter Van Eenam.*
